WTS London Summer Event24/06/2009
100 members, sponsors and guests gathered at 55 Broadway to listen to our guest speaker Baroness Jo Valentine on the theme of The Planning and Economics of Transport in London.
The event was also the occasion for WTS London to launch its new Scholarship programme. A raffle was organised which helped raised £340 towards the fee for a Masters degree in Transport. Among the prizes were One-to-one coaching session offered by Equality Works and a ride on the Northern line.
It was also announced that WTS London member Hanne Bingle had received an honorary MBE a few days before.
The celebration continued with a barbecue and networking on the terrace.
