The Road Ahead12/03/2009
On 26 February, WTS London and the International Forum for Rural Transport Development (IFRTD) held a joint event "The Road Ahead." Over 30 people, drawn from the development sector as well as WTS members, were treated to a presentation by Nite Tanzarn from the University of Makere in Uganda on the theme Gender & Transport Policy and Practice: The State of the Art in Uganda. The evening was also an occasion for IFRTD to present their new Board Members including Roma Thomas, from the WTS Project Team.
