WTS London Christmas Reception 200820/01/2009
WTS London held its very popular Christmas Reception on the 1
December at the ICE. Over 150 guests attended.
WTS London took the opportunity of the evening to
launch its latest project: a DVD about inspiring women working
in the transport industry. The DVD garnered a lot of interest
from the audience. It will be distributed later in the year to
schools and sponsors.
Rachel Skinner, WTS London President, also mentioned our new Member Gets Member Scheme: if current members help us get new
members, they could win vouchers as well as have a chance to win a
very special workshop.
Our guests were then treated to a panel discussion, with guest
speakers Niki Luscombe and Bronwyn Hill and chaired by Linda
Christmas, on our evening's theme Innovation and New Thinking in
Transport.
The celebration continued on with some networking
opportunities to the sound of the Jazz band, the Jazz Trio.
